They Kept Dropping The Price But Still Couldn’t Sell. When I Looked Inside, I Knew Why [6 photos]

As you know, selling your home and moving can be a stressful ordeal. You need to deal with realtors, mortgage companies, insurance brokers, government tax officers, and countless other issues. Or if you decide to do it all yourself, you may save money, but you’ll be dealing with a migraine headache 24-hours per day seven days per week. However , all the hard work and headaches are worth it when you finally close on the sale and make a profit. Plus, you’re ready to move and establish a new home, so a feeling of relief washes over you.

But for Gillian and David Walsh, they just can’t sell their house. After 13 months on the market and a drastic $75,000 price cut, it still did not sell. They are frustrated and growing angrier every day. Based on the numbers, you’d think this house would be swiped up. But when you look inside, you’ll see why no fish are biting…

From the outside this Crosby, England home is beautiful, well-maintained, and quite large. Certainly this 6-bedroom home is big enough for a growing family. But it just isn’t selling. And it’s not because it’s priced way too high. In fact, the owners have even lowered the price significantly in an effort to move the sale along. But despite the realtor’s sound advice, no one wants it.

At first it is puzzling but once you ring the doorbell and hear the sound of “Oh My Darling Clementine” playing throughout the home, you know you’re in for a surprise. But that’s not the only thing that awaits you inside the Walsh’s unique property. When ever a prospective buyer steps through the front door, what’s inside stops buyers in their tracks. And the couple do little to change the problem. But until they do, they probably won’t be able to sell their seemingly beautiful home.

Once you step inside, you’ll feel hit in the face from what seems to be an antique show. But actually it is just Gillian Walsh, 56, and her husband’s 30-years-worth of kitschy belongings. If you thought you were bad at collecting and hoarding stuff you don’t need, you’ll feel better looking side their home.

The home helped the Walshes raise eight children, but now that they’re all grown up, the 6-bedroom home is just too large for the couple.

As soon as the realtor uploaded photos of the home online, people around the world laughed at Gillian’s sense of décor.

But the couple are surprised by all the comments, and don’t understand why it’s not selling. They will be taking all of their unique belongings and decorations with them…

“They love their home,” the Walsh’s neighbor told Daily Mail. “They don’t see what all the fuss is about. It’s the house they’re selling, not the ornaments.”

Gillian and David Walsh are not the only people struggling to sell their home. A Victorian mansion in Massachusetts also has the same problem – except that house is haunted…
