A lady had a really uncomfortable trip to her gynecologist. She won’t ever be able to forget it.

I had an upcoming appointment with my gynecologist, but then one morning, the doctor’s office called and said they changed it to 9:30 am that same morning. It was a bit tricky because I had just sent everyone to work and school, and it was 8:45 am.

It took me 35 minutes to get to his office, and I was running out of time. Like many women, I usually take extra care with cleanliness for such appointments, but this time I couldn’t do the whole routine.

I quickly went upstairs, took off my pajamas, used a wet washcloth from the sink to freshen up down there, then put the washcloth in the laundry, got dressed, got in the car, and hurried to my appointment.

I waited in the room for a few minutes before they called me in. Like you probably know, I got on the table, looked away, and pretended I was in a far-off place.

I was a bit surprised when the doctor said, “You’ve really made an extra effort today, haven’t you?” I didn’t say anything.

Once I was done with the appointment, I felt relieved and went home. The rest of the day was typical – shopping, cleaning, and cooking. Later, when my 6-year-old daughter was playing, she asked from the bathroom, “Mommy, where’s my washcloth?”

I told her to take a different one from the cupboard.

She said, “No, I want the one that was next to the sink; it had all my glitter and sparkles in it.”

I’m never visiting that doctor again, ever.
