In today’s article you can read an interesting story about an engineer who was unemployed for a long period of time. Even though the engineer had experience and great recommendations, he could not find himself a job. He decided to try something new and see if he is lucky enough to make a lot of money. Namely, he opened a medical clinic and placed a sign in front of it: “Get a treatment for $500, if you’re not treated well we give you $1000”.

A doctor saw the sign in front of the clinic and he was intriguing to see what it is about. The doctor decided to go inside as he thought it would be really easy to earn $1000. He invented a story and entered the clinic. The doctor told the engineer: “I don’t have any taste in my mouth”. The engineer had a nurse and told her to bring the doctor some medicine. The secret liquid was stored in box 22. The nurse put 3 drops of it in the doctor’s mouth and he was shocked: “This is Gasoline!”

The engineer was glad to hear that and  said: “Very well! You have your taste back. $500 please.

The doctor reluctantly gave the engineer his money. He was very angry and decided to come back at the clinic few days later. This time, the doctor said: “I don’t remember anything, I’ve lost my memory!” The engineer told the nurse to bring the medicine from box 22 and to put 3 drops of the liquid it in the doctor’s mouth. The doctor said: “That’s gasoline, I’m not taking it!” And once again the engineer was happy. He said: “Congratulations! You have your memory back. $500 please”.

And again the doctor gave $500 to the engineer. The doctor was really angry and left the clinic in a rush. Few days later the doctor came to the clinic again and said: “My vision is really weak, I don’t see anything.” The smart engineer replied: “Well I don’t have medicine for that…Here’s your $1000.” The doctor immediately looked at the money and said: “But this is $500, not $1000!” At this, the engineer replied: “Very well, your vision is back! $500 please.”
