Reverend Ken Dupin, the founder of N2Care, was looking for revolutionary solutions for elderly care, and he came up with these incredible ‘backyard homes’ he later dubbed ‘granny pods.’ That’s how MedCottage, a fabulous tiny and mobile home for elderly that’s fitted right in the backyards of their families, was born.
According to the their website, “The MEDCottage is a mobile, modular medical home designed to be temporarily placed on a caregiver’s property for rehabilitation and extended care. Simply stated, it’s a state-of-the-art hospital room with remote monitoring available so caregivers and family members have peace of mind knowing they are providing the best possible care.”
There are three different models of ‘granny pods’ available. These homes are equipped everything necessary for a comfortable living, as well as webcams that ensure the family that the resident is well cared for. Awesome!
