Rick Simpson’s Cannabis oil
For this recipe you need an ounce of dried cannabis. This will give you about 3-4 grams of cannabis oil. A pound of dried marijuana will give you an ounce of high-quality hemp oil.
Caution: The flames are highly flammable, so be extremely careful during the boiling step. Stay away from red hot heating elements, stove-tops, sparks, and cigarettes. Prepare your oil in a well-ventilated room, and set up a fan to blow away the fumes.
Detailed instructions:
Put the dried plant in a plastic bucket. Pour in solvent of your choice. It could be water, butane, 99% isopropyl alcohol, or naphta. You will need about two gallons of the solvent.
Crush the dried cannabis using a wooden stick, and make sure it’s well soaked. Stir for a few minutes, and the THC should be dissolved by now. Transfer the solvent in a separate bucket. It contains about 80% of the THC.
Pour the solvent in again, and stir for 3 minutes. Transfer it into the first bucket. Discard the plant material, and strain through a coffee filter.
Boil the solvent using a rice cooker. As mentioned before, stay away from flammable items. Add the solvent, and make sure you fill about ¾ of the cooker. Turn it on high, and set up the fan to blow the flames away. Keep adding the mixture until the solvent evaporates.
You need 10 drops for each pound of dry material. This will prevent any overheating, and release solvent residues. Once you get about an inch of the solvent-water mixture, turn the heat on low, and stir until the solvent boils off.
Turn the heat on low, and make sure it doesn’t go over 140˚ C. Take the rice cooker off the heat, and transfer the liquid in a dehydrator or coffee warmer. The next process will take about a few hours. Your oil is ready once you stop seeing activities on its surfaces.
Caution: Consult your doctor before you use the oil. Learn more about the best ways to use cannabis oil. An average adult needs 90 days to finish the 60ml dose.
