Single Mom Thrilled To Have Triplets, But After Birth Her Plea Online Changes Their Fate Forever

Single mothers everywhere know that raising a kid all by yourself can be quite a daunting task, but for 25-year-old Hayley Arsenault, daunting didn’t even begin to describe how she felt. Hayley felt her world topple the moment she found out she was pregnant with not one or even two babies, but three.

As you can probably imagine, caring for triplets is a time-consuming task. After she brought her little boys Hogan, Rylan, and Finn home, Hayley’s days were filled with a never-ending rotation of feedings, diaper changes, baths, clean-up time, and the occasional cat nap if she got lucky.

Her mother was able to take some time off work and help out in the beginning, but when it came time for her to go back, Hayley panicked! The worried new mom posted a desperate plea on Facebook, and it’s now gone viral for three very special reasons.

After Hayley begged social media for help, three adorable grandmas came to the rescue and offered something more valuable than just plain old grandmotherly advice. They gave Hayley three extra sets of hands, three times the amount of grandma cuddles, and an immeasurable amount of peace of mind!

You may be familiar with the old proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Back in the old days when people grew up in tight-knit communities, “family” went way beyond your mom, dad, and siblings. The whole village chipped in to provide a safe environment for the children to experience life.

Well, it turns out that such communities still exist, and Hayley lived smack dab in the middle of one. Even though the town of Tignish on Prince Edward Island in Canada only has 800 residents, that’s where Hayley found a beacon of hope.

Jenny MacDougall, Alice Mokler, and Anita Arsenault are sisters and grandmothers who know exactly how hard it is to raise a baby. Jenny told the CBC:

“Knowing what it’s like to have one baby, it’s a lot of work. When I heard that she had three, I could really understand how exhausting it must be. It takes a village to raise a child and we’re willing to help out.”

The universe knew exactly what it was doing with the numbers game, and it manifested three wonderful ladies to help take care of three amazing babies! There is one grandma for each boy, which means they all get to spend quality time with each other!

The sisters bring food, help out with chores, and take care of the wee ones so that Hayley can catch up on much needed mommy rest. Their volunteer duties also give the sisters the chance to visit with each other, too! These happy grandmas can’t get enough of all the baby joy, and for Jenny, she doesn’t even consider it work:

“For me, it’s a gift to come here. We chat, we compare the babies. Love every minute of it.”

Wendy and Billy Arsenault, who are the boys’ biological grandparents, also take shifts to help out. Billy said they go through about 250 diapers a week, which would have gotten old real fast if these ladies hadn’t volunteered to help out. He doesn’t know what the family would have done without them:

“It’s tiresome as it is, but it would be very tiresome. Everybody’s been great.”

As for Hayley, when she wakes up from her nap, the first thing she does is thank Jenny, Alice, and Anita for being such wonderful human beings.

“To have strangers come in and actually make a connection with your babies is pretty amazing. They become people that you know and trust and that’s the big thing.”

Awww, these three amazing ladies prove that fairy godmothers are actually real, and they weave even more magic into our lives than anyone could have possibly imagined. Without these women, the Hayley would have felt her life topple around her.
