A woman was charged with two counts of second-degree murder after she admitted to investigators that she couldn’t remember the last time she fed her children.
Sherrie Lynn Hill, 55, was charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with special allegations of domestic violence as the late 18-year-olds were identified as her twin children: Connor Hill and Chelsea Hill.
Hill was arrested on Thursday after she arrived at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale for an evaluation and informed employees there that she was suicidal and that two people had died at her home.
Hill informed a social worker from the Behavioral Health Unit that her “nonverbal autistic” children were dead in her trailer. Hill also claimed to have neglected them and told detectives that she couldn’t remember the last time she fed them.
She also admitted she had no intention to harm the twins, stating: “this is how crazy I am,” according to court documents. The social worker contacted 911, and fire crews were dispatched to conduct a welfare check at her residence, where fire crews confirmed finding the two young adults.

Hill stated she had been suicidal for over a month, and according to documents, said she had attempted suicide six times. She also claimed to have lost track of time and didn’t believe she had slept in three days.
Hill recalled that when she went into the twin’s room one morning, she found them “cold and blue.” She did not call 911, citing it was due to her depression.
“I need to own up to my responsibilities, I can’t believe I let this happen,” Hill admitted to investigators, according to court documents.
Hill also divulged to investigators that the twins shared a bedroom and slept in twin beds. She stated the room was blocked off by two baby gates, with one stacked on top of the other.
When detectives asked Hill when the twins died, she stated they passed several days ago. She said they were alive the night before she discovered them to be dead. She additionally claimed that she put them to bed in their pajamas.
When she found them the next morning, allegedly, they were unresponsive and naked. It was then she retrieved blankets from the living room to put over them, covering them completely. She admitted she never went back to their bedroom after finding them dead.

Hill shared with detectives that it had been about a week since someone had visited her house.

According to a press release from the office, the cause and manner of death were not released and are pending further investigation and return of toxicology tests.
